I am a photographer, a writer, an artist… a dreamer.

I fell insanely in love with photography as a teenager when my grandfather gave me his old Canon AE-1 on “loan”. He taught me how to really see the world.

Looking at life thru a camera has taught me to pay closer attention to the world, to people, to myself and to the stories that make us so human.

Theartistmeansnothing.com is a collection of my art and writing and personal projects. It is a way for me to step outside of the box, outside of a social media platform and share a more personal side to my photography. Art in any form is such an intimate experience and I believe that artists are some of the bravest people I know. They allow themselves to become vulnerable to an audience of people when they decide to share their work with the world.

All those years ago my grandfather gave me the greatest gift when he gave me purpose and an outlet to pour my heart into. It is a gift I continue to be endlessly thankful for.
